Balwyn North Primary School provides a range of learning opportunities for a diverse student population with all children encouraged and supported to achieve their full potential. The academic and co-curricular programs aim to develop the whole child and instil in them an appreciation that learning is a lifelong process that is both challenging and rewarding. A strong focus on all students achieving the best possible learning outcomes in Literacy and Numeracy exists throughout the school. The Literacy and Numeracy programs are complimented by engaging Integrated Units of Inquiry that allow students to further develop interests in the wider world as well as strategies for learning how to learn. The classroom learning program is enhanced by P E, Mandarin, Art, Music and Library specialist programs. The School has a strong commitment to meeting the needs of 21st century learners, including high level learning technologies throughout the school and an elective 1:1 netbook program in Level 4.
