Denmark High School is located on the pristine south coast of Western Australia in the picturesque town of Denmark. Built in 1999 to service secondary students in coastal communities from Denmark to Walpole; the school caters for 280 students from Years 8 to 12 in modern, well-equipped facilities. Our students enjoy the broad general curriculum available in larger schools with the advantage of a caring environment, small classes and dedicated staff. Modern technologies are accessible across the site. Strong community support enriches all aspects of the school and assists staff to provide a range of specialist courses. These include Music (a school band), Specialised Basketball, Outdoor Education, Drama, Dance, Media, Art, trades, Aquaculture and Workplace Learning. Students also have the opportunity to participate in camps, competitions and education extension activities that further enhance the school experience. In Years 11 & 12, students can focus on vocational courses or study a wide range of courses leading to University Entrance. Groups are small and result focussed.
