Moil Primary School is located in the Darwin suburb of Moil and is an integral part of the local community and is one of the oldest schools in Darwin. The school aims to provide its students with quality education in a friendly and nurturing environment with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy. Specialist programs are offered in Music, Languages Other Than English, English as a Second Language and an Intensive English Unit. Moil also has dedicated programs for Gifted students, Special Education assistance and support for Indigenous students through the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme.
