Marymede Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational school, situated on the northern fringe of Melbourne's Plenty River growth corridor. The College charism is founded in a Marian spirituality and our motto is 'In the Way of Mary'. The College currently enrols approximately 1320 students from Prep to Year 12 with our first cohort of Year 12 students graduating in 2011. Growing by approximately 140 students per year the College is anticipated to reach capacity in the next four years. With a large student population, the College has adopted a model of three discrete sub-Schools. The students in Prep-Year 4 are in the Junior sub-school, Foundation Years program; the students in Years 5 to 8 are in the Middle sub-school, Middle Years program and the students in Years 9-12 are in the Senior sub-school with a Senior Years program. The College's Vision and Mission statements enable the articulation of clear goals and values; we establish a Catholic community where active engagement with curriculum promotes excellence for all and builds on the confidence of all members of our community as they relate positively with each other, the community and the environment.
