Jesmond Senior Campus, as part of the Callaghan Collegiate and Education Pathways community, provides quality learning experiences for Year 11 and 12 students as a preparation for the HSC and an enriched life and working opportunities after school. As lead school in the Newcastle Trade Training Centre, the campus has a strong commitment to vocational education and a focus on developing student confidence and skills as independent learners. This promotes career goals and work readiness, as well as providing a strong skills base for further study at university or TAFE. The school achievement in vocational education has been recognized with Hunter Region Training Awards (HRATA) for Excellence in School Vocational Training in 2009 and 2010.
