Seaham Public School is a caring school that offers a safe and nurturing learning environment. The school is nestled in the centre of the community of Seaham. The school offers excellent technology opportunities across all stages with interactive whiteboards and innovative software. A laptop program has been operating since 2007. Each Year 6 student has a laptop which provides digital tools to complete class work. It also provides ready access to research material to enhance the curriculum. We strive to encourage each child to reach their full potential and provide a wide range of opportunities which include:- a biannual major school musical, StarStruck, Anti Bullying Peer Support program, comprehensive sport programs, school teams for PSSA Knockout competitions, regular school assemblies and After School Care. Environmental education is also a feature of our work and we work closely with local groups to educate and improve environmental awareness.
