Camberwell South is a learning community committed to developing in students the skills required to become successful and resilient adults. We are focussed on best teaching practices and providing an exemplary learning environment to equip our students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for them to become lifelong learners. We explicitly teach the skills of collaboration, communication and self responsibility acknowledging these life skills will prepare each child for the future. We are organised into four levels as multi-age classes. This is based on the well-founded belief that learning is developmental. A focus on continuos improvement and a commitment to providing learning pathways appropriate to the needs of all students ensures every child learns and does their best at school. An emphasis upon critical and analytical thinking strategies and a strong commitment to the development and integration of Information and Communication technologies across the curriculum further support an exciting and flexible learning program Camberwell South has 35.8 equivalent full time staff: 2 principal class, 30.4 teachers and 6 Educational Support staff. Parents play a vital part in the life of our school and are encouraged to be involved in their child's life.
