MacKillop is a Catholic co-educational secondary college in Werribee, situated in the western suburbs of Melbourne. MacKillop College enrols over 1500 students. The College was originally established in 1970 by the Sisters of St Joseph and maintains a strong commitment to the Josephite's core values of simplicity, faith and generosity. Our vision is 'Celebrating all life, challenging all people, dreaming the new day'. The College provides many opportunities for young people to involve themselves in a contemporary curriculum, respectful wellbeing and engaging leadership. Our College has state of the art facilities and extensive grounds with dedicated sporting and recreational areas. At Year 9, we offer a unique alternative program at St Mary's Campus, focusing on an integrated inquiry approach to learning. We take seriously our responsibility for the wellbeing of students with an effective system involving teacher aides, counsellors and a wellbeing team. Our parent community is closely involved with College activities. At the senior years we offer over 40 VCE, VET and VCAL subjects and track our students in their respective futures.
