Our school has an enrolment of 174 students and has 24.6 equivalent full time staff: 2 rincipal class, 17.7 teachers and 4.68 education support staff. We work with the parents and the community to promote excellence in learning, and encourage the values of respect, courtesy, honesty, resilience and responsible behaviour. Our students' VCE results have been consistently outstanding and they have been very successful in gaining entry into their first choice tertiary course, employment and further training. Flexible programs operate at Years 10-12 with a full VCE program, VCAL, SBA’s and work release. We are using “leading edge” video conferencing technology to enhance student learning. The innovative Year 9 “Time-Out” program serves to increase engagement, to develop independence, self-confidence and strengthen community connectedness and relationships between staff and students. Students are encouraged to participate in a wide range of Sports, Public Speaking, Drama, Work Experience, Music, Choir, Science Club and RACV Energy Breakthrough. 2008 was the first year of our four year Strategic Plan. Our major aim is to continue to improve teaching strategies and learning standards in the Middle Years with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
