Sandringham College is a school of 1340 students, including 30 International Students, located in the Bayside area of Melbourne. It has 116.75 equivalent full-time staff comprising: 4 members of the Principal class, 116 teachers (86.8 eft), and 37 Education Support Staff (29.95 eft). The College is focused on challenging all students to excel as active, responsible learners and members of the community. We provide the broadest possible range of programs, including Enhanced Mathematics and Science (eMaS), our 3C9 Program, one of the widest ranges of VCE and VET studies in the State and a large, vibrant VCAL program. In 2009 and 2010 we won the Southern Region Applied Learning Awards Champion School. This breadth of studies and the unique multi-campus learning environment is highly attractive to students both in and beyond the local community .While the College has a strong reputation for the quality of its Performing and Visual Arts Programs, we are proud of our students' achievements across all subjects. Our students also learn much from participation in a wide range of extra-curricula activities which develop respect, pride, success, creativity and community. The new Strategic Plan focuses on three areas; personalising our programs and teaching for each student, increasing student empowerment and 'voice', and improving attraction into and transition through the College. Sandringham East Primary School and Sandringham College are currently undergoing regeneration to become the Sandringham Education Precinct.
