St Martin de Porres parish school is situated in the north-western suburb of Avondale Heights, 11 km from Melbourne. The school opened in 1965, and was run by the Resurrection Sisters until 1978. The school has an enrolment of approximately 275 students and has a rich multi-cultural profile with over half of our families speaking a language other than English in the home. St Martin's school community comprises a welcoming partnership of students, families and school staff seeking to faithfully live the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Catholic tradition.
