At Bethanga Primary School our purpose is to provide the students of Bethanga, Bellbridge and beyond with the best possible educational setting and programs which engage students with their individual needs and talents in order to reach their full academic and social potential. We meet this purpose by following the values of respect, understanding and tolerance, persistence, pride and tolerance. Students travel by bus from Bellbridge and the surrounding area to an educational setting that continues to be modified and improved as opportunities arise. During its long history, the school has been remodelled and rebuilt culminating in the current 2 Mod5 classrooms, art room and administration building. Through environmentally conscious programs the school is reducing its environmental impact through collection of rainwater for all water usage; use of 66 solar panels for electricity production and a strong commitment to the values of reduce, reuse and recycle. Our school has 4.1equivalent full-time staff: 1 Principal class, 3 teachers and 2 Education Support Staff members who have a wide range of teaching skills and knowledge of subject areas, which enables us to provide in-depth curriculum across all areas of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards. A wide range of ICT equipment is utilised to support students in their learning and to draw upon individual preferred learning styles and interests.
