Blackville Public School is a small rural school situated on the picturesque and productive Liverpool Plains in the New England region of New South Wales. The support of our active Parents and Citizens Association and the wider Blackville community, together with strategic use of Country Area Program funding, ensure Blackville Public School is very well-resourced in both the human and physical sense. We are able to achieve outstanding outcomes for our students by supporting student learning through excellent student-teacher ratios, as well as quality teaching and learning programs. Our rich programs in Literacy and Numeracy, Creative Arts, Sport and Technology compensate for our geographic isolation and integrate our students into the wider community. At Blackville Public School we foster a cooperative, caring learning environment where students develop the skills, knowledge, attitudes and values to become lifelong learners and well-rounded citizens. Our school motto 'Strive to Achieve' symbolises the value we place on attaining personal excellence in a school culture of high expectations. Like many other small schools, our very small year groups mean that our NAPLAN data cannot be published for privacy reasons.
