Rangebank Primary School maintains its core focus of skilling our children in the areas of literacy, numeracy and engaging with our school. To achieve these outcomes there is a shared vision of staff and parents, which value the individual child. The community identifies the “small school approach” as being a key factor in choosing to enrol their child here. Geographically the school is located in a developed area of Cranbourne with parents out of the area, choosing to drive children here because they are happy with the programs offered. Within a 5 kilometre radius there are 4 community estates being rapidly developed and we expect this to have a positive influence on future enrolments. The school has a Community Socio-Educational Advantage (ICSEA) inThe staffing profile is a blend of experienced and graduate teachers; teachers have a strong commitment to the goals of the school as well as the welfare of children. The school has responded to the ‘Blueprints’ and Performance and Development Culture in a positive fashion with work completed on understanding the Principles of Learning and Teaching, using the Victorian Essential Learning Standards. Staff work and plan in teams for improved student learning and wellbeing.
