Holy Saviour Primary School opened in 1977 and is situated in Vermont South, an eastern suburb of Melbourne. We have 12 spacious and modern classrooms, some of which have been newly built between 2008-2010. All other classrooms have been recently refurbished. Holy Saviour offers a holisitc education for students. There are opportunities for students to be involved in a range of activities with lunchtime clubs and a variety of programs to engage and support the varying needs of students. Both intervention and enrichment programs are offered within a culture that focuses on a differentiated curriculum. Parents are welcomed in to assist and be involved in all aspects of school life. Holy Saviour is situated on a generous block of land and offers a large playground area as well as a grassed oval which provides ample play space for children. The Holy Saviour Vision Statement "Together we Live, Love and Learn in the Spirit of the Good News" and the Teaching and Learning Statement were developed by the staff and parents with input from the children. These are reviewed regularly. Staff strive to make the school a vibrant and active learning environment for the wellbeing of all.
