Rolling Hills Primary School is committed to preparing students for a positive, productive future. Programs are constantly evolving to ensure that our classroom practices are contemporary and based on best practice. We strive for ongoing improvement and academic excellence in teaching and learning, catering for the special needs and talents of all students, through the provision of innovative professional learning for staff and meticulous team planning. We are proud of our reputation for high achievement and building positive relationships. Highlights of the year include student led inquiry and presentations at all levels, curriculum based rotations, three way conferences, the school Production, 'Top That', which provides a rare opportunity for all students to perform before a large audience and an Artist in Residence program. All students participated in the program, creating a mural designed by the students, reflecting our learning journey. This program was a great vehicle for our ‘buddies’ activities. The Commonwealth Games Day was also a wonderful opportunity for students and teachers to learn and work across other levels. We have a diverse and dynamic staff (EFT 34) including an award winning ES team of 9, who work in teams to maximise the use of their expertise in providing customised, academic and social programs to cater for the individual needs of a range of students. Rolling Hills offers its 420 students and staff a well-resourced, attractive educational environment with an expectation that students acknowledge their responsibility in the learning process.
