Zig Zag Public School is located in Oakey Park, Lithgow. The school was originally established in 1891. A unique feature of the school is that it is a small school with a country atmosphere within the Lithgow environs. The picturesque parkland environment of the school is a key feature. The playground includes a new tennis court and extensive play equipment across three grassed levels. There are designated appropriate play areas to cater to individual needs and ages.
