At Cranbourne Park Primary School, all children are valued as individuals, whose learning is catered for by individual learning plans designed to give every student the opportunity to be the best that they can be. Our school has 21.4 equivalent full time staff comprising two Principal Class, 19 full time and one part time teaching members of staff and six Education Support Officers, comprising three full time and four part time staff. Our school buildings provide a contemporary teaching environment within recently refurbished facilities. The values of respect, responsibility, doing your best and understanding, tolerance and inclusion guide our programs and policies. The school has a strong student well-being and social skills focus which underpins our goal of a safe and stimulating educational environment. There is an emphasis on improving learning outcomes for students in the areas of Reading, Writing and Numeracy. Explicit and focused teaching creates a supportive and stimulating learning environment. Support programs include reading recovery, literacy support, student welfare and enrichment studies. Enrichment includes gifted and talented programs in Thinking, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and The Arts. Extensive ICT resources are used to support teaching and learning across the curriculum.
