St Thomas More College is a co-educational Catholic secondary school located in Sunnybank. As a Catholic secondary college we have a vision that is explicit about beliefs, values and the need for young people to develop the skills and resilience to enter an ever changing world. The College was founded in 1974 with a lay Principal supported by the Presentation Sisters whose charism continues to be the source of our mission as a Catholic School. Today, the College offers a contemporary and broad based curriculum designed to meet the needs of all learners. With a strong focus on the needs of the individual and an engaging curriculum there is a pathway that caters for the academically gifted as well as those requiring enrichment and support. Master planning for 600 students has resulted in new and refurbished facilities including a multi-purpose centre (for drama, music, hospitality, assembly and functions), practical arts centre (technology, manual arts, visual arts, media), refurbished classrooms and a College chapel. The College has extensive natural grounds with sporting facilities and modern buildings set among native trees. From inception the College developed a strong commitment to the pastoral care of students through the provision of a holistic education to all students.
