Calvary Christian College is a ministry of Calvary Christian Church. It exists to provide excellence in education for the children of families who value Christian Education. We believe that families should be supported by a school that shares their values and that works in partnership with them to produce outstanding young people who become an influence for good in their world. The college is situated on 90 acres of bushland at the base of Mt Louisa, Townsville. Sports events, such as swimming carnivals, cross country run and athletics events are held onsite. We are the only school in North Queensland to offer the Tennis Excellence program. International students seek us out for our Christian values and commitment to excellence in all areas. Our students participate in a wide variety of community services, such as the Adopt-a-Gran program with a local nursing home, Blessing Days and International Culture Fest, to name a few. We have a deep understanding of the unique needs of Service families. We offer before and after school care and vacation care. Over 700 students are currently enrolled, from three year old Kindergarten children to Year 12 graduates. A graduate of Calvary Christian College is an asset to society.
