Craigmore Christian School is situated in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, some 35km from the city. We are a Reception to Year 12 school with a current, and growing, enrolment of approximately 440 students. The majority of the student population comes from the local metropolitan area, with a few students travelling in from nearby rural fringe districts. The school, under the oversight of Craigmore Christian Church, exists to provide an educational service by providing educational opportunities within a Biblical framework, such that its students will be nurtured in the Christian faith and equipped to function meaningfully within the local and broader community. The school's purpose is to see each individual student realise his or her potential across a wide range of fields of endeavour, including academic, social, spiritual, physical and vocational pursuits. The school has greatly appreciated and benefited from the Building the Education Revolution Commonwealth grants. The new gym, library, science centre and language centre provide students with tremendous learning areas in which to engage in an excellent education in preparation for life beyond school. Students are given the wonderful opportunity, through facilities and educational programs that are of a high quality and conducive to high achievement, to diligently prepare themselves for successful entrance into further education institutions such as universities, TAFE and/or the workforce. Students at CCS are encouraged to strive for excellence in all their endeavours. They have opportunity to study a wide range of subjects and participate in a variety of extra-curricular sporting and academic activities.
