Moana Primary School is situated in Seaford, approximately 30km south of the Adelaide CBD. The school is less than a km from the beach. We provide quality education for Reception to Year 7 students. Our vision is to prepare each child to live in, and care for a rapidly changing and diverse world through our values of respect, responsibility, caring, cooperation, friendliness and tolerance. The vision complements our motto 'Connecting Children, Community and Coast'. Our facilities include two large ovals, two outdoor Astroturf basketball/netball courts and a hall with various courts. The hall is also used for assemblies that are presented by each class, with many parents attending. All classes have an interactive whiteboard and we have a new computer suite with a computer for each child. Further, we offer specialist teaching in Japanese, music, PE and art. Each term has a specific learning focus. In Term 1 it is the sea;Term 2 focuses on Asia; inTerm 3 it is books, and in Term 4 it is sports. We have an active Student Representative Council which meets weekly to discuss issues and organise fundraisers to help various charities.
