St Mary's Primary School is a K to 6 co-educational Catholic primary school continuing the tradition of Catholic education begun in Grafton in 1868. As a Catholic school, Christ's teaching is at the centre of everything we do as we strive to deepen each child's relationship with God. Students are encouraged to always do their best, to understand their beliefs and to work and play happily together. As a school, St Mary's is focused on learning that is enjoyable yet challenging where all children are motivated to excel. Programs are in place to support students with additional needs. Each year a number of students participate in Tournament of Minds, a national problem-solving challenge for groups of students.
