Coogee Boys' Preparatory School is located in Sydney adjoining the Randwick Presbyterian Church. The School is single stream Kindergarten to Year 6, with a maximum of 25 students per grade. At present, we have approximately 154 students. Whilst the School has an open enrolment policy, preference is given to sons of old boys and siblings. Many parents send their sons to the School for an all-round boys education founded on the ideals of gentleman scholar sportsman. Coogee Prep is based on Christian principles and core values, which promote integrity, compassion, fairness and tolerance. The School's welfare and pastoral care policies instil a sense of self-discipline, responsibility, resilience and belonging. The curriculum is comprehensive and rigorous with a focus on numeracy and literacy and a balance of sport and the creative and practical arts. The community celebrates outstanding NAPLAN results in Years 3 and 5 from year to year and prides itself in the variety of extracurricular activities that it offers such as chess, debating, public speaking, Saturday sport and community service. After School Care is offered as a service to the parents five days per week. Coogee Prep's small size fosters a true sense of community where staff, students and parents share in an educational partnership.
