St Monica's is a small and intimate co-educational primary school with a long and rich history. The core values of the school, made explicit in the school Mission, reflect the welcome, respect and commitment to excellence for which the school is known. This is particularly evident in the celebration of the varied cultural and ethnic groups represented in our community and their contribution to contemporary Australian society. Our curriculum is rich in experiences and challenges with a wide range of resources, both human and technological. We are justifiably proud of our achievements in literacy and numeracy. In addition St Monica's is an exemplar school for effective learning and teaching using contemporary learning practices including digital technologies. In recent years students from St Monica's have received awards for work done in the fields of History and Fine Arts. The school choir is regularly invited to perform at local and state events. St Monica's is currently working on the Social Emotional Learning Project, National Partnerships Program and LSEY (Linking Schools and the Early Years) Project.
