Middle Dural Public School is located in the north-western suburbs of Sydney. It is a small school set in a rural environment, surrounded by horse paddocks and orchards yet it is so close to the established suburbs of metropolitan Sydney. Spacious, grassed playing fields enhance the school buildings, promoting a very pleasant outlook and relaxed atmosphere. The school has been providing education for the children of the community since 1891 Middle Dural School provides the advantages of a small school atmosphere where children get to know everyone in all grades. As a result, tolerance between children of different age groups is a key factor enabling children to interact and learn from each other. Also opportunities for pupils to be involved in the daily running of the school allows for the development and acceptance of responsibility. From this experience, a strong, positive school spirit has evolved. At Middle Dural School we are able to offer small classes, where the basic subjects are taught soundly by dedicated and enthusiastic staff.
