Treetops Montessori School is located in Darlington, 18km east of Perth in the Darling Ranges. Established in 1989, there are currently 120 students enrolled, from 3 years old through to Year 12, with plans to extend to 200 students. Treetops is governed by a Board, elected at the AGM from members of the Beenong School Association Inc. Parents of children enrolled at Treetops and staff automatically become members of the Association, which is registered with the Department of Education and Training. A Montessori education is a holistic, child-centred approach, which takes into account all aspects of the child's developmental needs - physical, emotional, social, academic and spiritual. Treetops is also an IB World School and utilises the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program for Years 11 and 12. Our vision is to be an excellent, intimate Montessori educational community which, through its children, makes a difference. Our aim is to provide an environment that supports a broad, harmonious and thorough education and maintains Treetops' unique, positive, caring and encouraging energy, which is shared and appreciated by the wider community.
