St Paul's Catholic College serves the Catholic communities of Greystanes, Toongabbie, Wentworthville, Merrylands and Guildford. Our mission is to educate young men so they may live their lives with integrity and faith while making the most of their individual gifts. Our motto, Many Gifts – One Community, signifies our commitment to developing in young men the strength and resolve to be humble, gentle, patient and tolerant while growing in faith, courage and hope. We have a rich curriculum which offers a diverse range of experiences and programs for our students. As an all-boys school, we offer a broad range of subjects in the Technical and Applied Studies key learning area. Our Vocational Education and Training (VET) subjects in Years 11 and 12 are exceptionally popular. Students regularly do well in mathematics, science and English competitions as well as in School Certificate and Higher School Certificate examinations. We reflect on the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) results, using them as a diagnostic tool to measure individual student need. Those students who have needed more intensive skill building in literacy and/or numeracy have been well supported by our Special Learning Needs team. The College offers an extensive range of representative sports, being a member of the Metropolitan Catholic Schools association. As such our students have a clear pathway to represent at a regional, state and national level in their chosen sports. This year we have had a student chosen to compete at national level in swimming and another in rugby league. As well as representative sports there is a range of other activities in which our students can be involved. The Catholic Secondary Schools Debating Association (CSDA) has competitions in public speaking and debating with students from other catholic schools across the Sydney metropolitan area.
