The Lavers Hill P-12 College is a rural, remote school on the Great Ocean Road set in the Otway Ranges. The College caters for Kinder to Year 12. The College is set in beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds. We provide excellent recreational facilities including tennis, basketball and netball courts, a fully equipped gym, a gymnasium and a heated indoor swimming pool. All students attending the Lavers Hill College are bus travellers as the majority live more than 10 km from the College. Enrolments throughout the College are relatively steady at around 90 students. The gender ratio is fairly even. The College has some families on EMA with a variety of family profiles. Many families are self employed, with some involved in the dairy industry, and others in tourism related occupations. As an isolated school we offer an enriching variety of programs to develop students learning and social potential. The Compass and Duke of Edinburgh programs are offered to all secondary students with a strong focus on leadership, outdoor education and community service. The College also offers a strong Student Leadership program with a School Captain, Prefect and SRC structure. School uniform is compulsory. We have an excellent pupil teacher ratio.
