Casino Christian School is a Kindergarten to Year 10 school, and is a ministry of the Casino Presbyterian Church to the wider Christian community of Casino and district. It is a member of Christian Schools Australia and the Presbyterian Schools Association. The school is located in a beautiful rural setting in the rolling farmlands that surround Casino. The school focuses strongly on Christian education, and is a gospel teaching, Christ-centred school, teaching the NSW Board of Studies curriculum from a Christian perspective. The values taught in the school are therefore Biblical. The School Motto is 'Grow in Grace and Knowledge'. The School Mission Statement is: '? to see parents, church and school working together to bring children to maturity in Christ, and then reach out to the world with His love through service and the Good News of salvation'. The school achieves its mission through a strong focus on pastoral care, and it has an important role in the local community in Christian service. One example is how the Infants classes engage in ministry to people in a local nursing home. The school has generous-sized classrooms and is well resourced for all our Secondary subjects. The Computer/IT section is resourced with Apple Macs, and is continually being expanded. In 2011 we will able to begin using our new buildings built through the BER program in 2010. We have been able to build a new Library/Administration Office, as well as a new large Multi-Purpose Centre for school events and indoor sports. The school sports fields are large and well appointed. In NAPLAN results in 2009 and 2010, the students achieved above national averages in most areas. Our students participate in most national competitions, and some high awards have been achieved in recent years. The School Certificate results achieved by Year 10 always include results of high merit.
