St Mary's School is a Catholic primary school serving the community of Donald, a small country town of 1,500, situated in central-west Victoria. St Mary's School has an enrolment of over 50 children in classes from Prep- Year 6. St Mary's School is an integral part of the parish community and has Jesus Christ as the centre of its educational vision, where all are encouraged to live out the gospel values of love, truth, hope, service to the community. The school's mission is to support it's students, teachers and families with policies that promote success and belonging and provide opportunities for all to participate in decision making. The school ensures parents feel their presence is important and that their contributions are valued via specific classroom activities, Parents and Friends Association and the school board. St Mary's School encourages students, teachers and parents to take an active involvement in activities organised by the North Central Catholic Cluster Network. St Mary's has recently completed major capital projects including the refurbishment of all classrooms, administration and student amenities, as well as the construction of a multi-purpose room and outdoor learning area.
