Rissalah College is located at 54-72 Hampden Road, Lakemba, NSW. There are 455 students, with about 98% of students from NESB/ESL. Our school's Values Education Program, based on the Values for Australian Schooling are reinforced by our faith values. Rissalah College participates in many community values programs such as the Harmony Day Sports Carnival and Australians Together in the Values Sister Schools Project. Rissalah College provides an integrated Islamic program in keeping with the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). The high quality of education which is reflected in the level of student achievement, demonstrates the dedicated staff's commitment to the students' development in the acquisition of the skills across the school curriculum, with the major focus on Literacy and Numeracy. We cater for individual student's needs with the inclusion of Special Education programs in Literacy and Numeracy. Early intervention is a crucial component of the students' education; therefore we develop structural and sequential programs which form the core of our school. Our motto of 'Knowledge, Faith and Discipline' provides a supportive environment for a child's spiritual, social, emotional and academic development in a setting that strives for excellence from teachers and students.
