The Brisbane Independent School is situated in tranquil, rural, Pullenvale and is one of the most successful and progressive primary schools in Queensland responsible for preparing many children for a changing world, over the past forty years. We are quite unique and dynamic as we serve to meet the educational needs of our community whilst remaining in our integrity as a child oriented environment. We value emotional intelligence, respectful communication and a passion for discovery. Whilst we deliver the QSA component of the curriculum, we also provide opportunities for individualised study, incorporating contemporary educational principles and pedagogies which are supported by current research. Our adult: student ratio is currently 1:15, which we find provides an optimal learning space, where teachers develop family-model relationships with students that are second to none.
