Upper Brookfield recognises the importance of primary education. We aim to enhance the social, emotional, creative, physical and intellectual development of all children. This is achieved through our warm and individually attentive approach in which productive relationships are developed and maintained between all school community members. Our multi-age classes support our philosophy of catering for individual development with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. A number of social/emotional programs exist, including 'You Can Do It', to help build positive self-esteem and resilience. Upper Brookfield's academic achievement on independent assessments (NAPLAN and ICAS) has been extremely good with a number of students performing at the very highest percentiles in the state. We have a supportive school environment with the academic rigour to help our students develop as lifelong learners through a sense of self, others, community and global responsibility.
