Trinity Catholic School is situated in the historic town of Murrumburrah and provides quality Catholic education for the children of Harden Murrumburrah and district. Trinity was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1880. We celebrate the Mercy charism by ensuring the values of knowledge, love and service are part of our daily activities, in our relationships with each other and in our teaching and learning. Trinity achieves its mission through spiritual encounters in prayer and liturgy, by undertaking professional learning and by providing a wide range of learning opportunities. Through discernment and the IDEAS process, Trinity aspires to the vision of “Destination, Journey, Success”. Life and education are both journeys where we start with the destination in mind and celebrate milestones along the way. Trinity is an integral part of Our Lady of Mercy Parish. The students prepare and participate in a weekday parish mass each fortnight and in the Family Mass on the fourth Sunday of each month. Trinity supports and participates in the Parish Sacramental Program. Our Lady of Mercy Parish sponsors the Christian Leadership Awards each year and contributes financially to the school. Trinity proudly belongs to the Harden Murrumburrah community. The staff and students participate each year in the ANZAC Day March, the Harden Murrumburrah Show and the Kite Festival. The community supports Trinity through sponsorship, attendance at school events and continued interest in the progress of the school and achievements of the students.
