Located in the City of Geraldton, John Willcock College is a dedicated middle school comprised of six hundred students in years eight and nine. It is a multicultural environment with a diverse range of students from Geraldton & the MidWest. John Willcock College is also home to the MidWest Netball Academy and member of the MidWest Football Academy. The College has developed an innovative sub school focus on academic and social programs using a team approach creating close relationships between teachers, students and families; enabling stakeholders to collaboratively respond to student needs as they arise. The college provides a range of innovative programs and specialist instruction in all curriculum areas including Languages other than English, Art, Technology and Enterprise. The school has its own musical band, which performs regularly in public. A cutting edge initiative whereby every student is provided with a notebook computer to enhance learning experiences sets John Willcock College apart as the only government school in Western Australia with this level of technology.
