Nashdale Public School serves a rural community some nine kilometres west of the city of Orange. Students attending the school predominately come from small farm holdings and orchards around the school district, with a number of students also from the city of Orange. The school has a long and happy working relationship with the local community over the years with many ex-pupils continuing to maintain a special interest in the school. Students attending the school have a happy and safe environment in which to learn and grow. All staff provide a balanced, stimulating and caring atmosphere for all children to progress. Programs presented to students allow for individuality to develop through the provision of a stimulating and challenging curriculum. Specialist programs are provided in Visual Arts, Sport and Music. Students in Years 2 to 6 benefit from the provision of individual lap tops.
