Wantirna Primary in Knox is a “small school with BIG results” and is known to promote educational opportunity, excellence and tolerance in an exciting learning environment. Our unique Junior Learning and Senior Learning Unit class structure enables our skilled teachers to better cater for individual learning styles and personalities, using our flexible learning spaces. Recent installation of interactive whiteboards has embedded the use of ICT in delivery of an exciting and engaging curriculum. Wantirna Primary offers its 109 students an attractive, safe and stimulating learning environment , with a high level of teacher support in 2010 - 6.8 full time staff (1 principal, 5.8 teachers and 2.95 education support staff). Underpinned by excellent literacy and numeracy teaching and learning practice, students are provided with curriculum and learning experiences that develop a love of learning and promote the core values of learning, persistence, respect and teamwork.
