Marmor State School is situated 40 km south of Rockhampton. The school has serviced the local community since 1906. Marmor is a Band 5 co-educational school with a teaching principal and one multi-grade classroom catering for students in Prep to Year 7. Literacy and Numeracy standards are a major focus on curriculum development and all students participate in daily Literacy and Numeracy blocks. The inclusive curriculum offered caters for a diverse range of students with individual learning needs and styles. Integrated units of work are planned, aligning with the Essentials.
