Wooroolin State School is a small school set in rural Queensland, a short drive from Kingaroy and the Bunya Mountains. Our school motto 'Make Wooroolin Proud' is a living motto. Students from Prep to year 7 have been serving our community for over 50 years through the Wooroolin State School Bugle Band. Our curriculum is established using the essential learnings of the key learning areas, including German as our other language, and is supported with early-intervention strategies and special-needs support. We have a number of visiting specialists including Music and Physical Education. Our gifted and talented students are encouraged to extend their education in a variety of in-school and out-of-school competitions and activities. Our experienced staff work in multi-age classrooms which cater for a student's individual needs. We pride ourselves on active partnerships with neighbouring small schools for sports, activity days, debating and camps. Our Parents and Citizens Association has close collaborations with other organisations in our community including Scouts and the Wooroolin Hall Committee.
