High Wycombe Primary School opened in 1961. There is current enrolment of 415 students. With significant new development in the area the student population is growing. The school is located approximately 17km from the Perth CBD. Our facilities and resources are of a high standard, including our well-maintained gardens and grounds. Our student population is homogenous with few students from non-English speaking backgrounds. At High Wycombe Primary School we aim to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment sensitive to the needs of all. We will provide learning opportunities so that children are equipped to deal with the challenges of a changing world and become the person they can be. We offer specialist teaching in the areas of Music, Physical Education, Languages Other Than English (Italian) and Art. These areas add to the broad curriculum taught by our highly experienced and dedicated classroom teaching staff. The school embraces new technologies to support student learning such as Interactive Whiteboards and online learning programs.
