Millars Well School is located in Karratha 1700km north of Perth. It is in the Pilbara Education District. Millars Well PS has 440 students K-year 7. It has a Principal, two Deputy Principals and specialists in LOTE, Music and Physical Education. Non teaching staff include; Registrar, School officer, Gardener, 2 cleaners, Special Needs Education Assistants, Aboriginal Islander Education Officer, Education Assistants and Library Officer. Staff provide a safe, happy environment for students using inclusive practices to cater for a range of cognitive, physical and behavioural difference. There is a focus on developing students self concept through values education, social skills training and assigning students with responsibilities. Staff work together establishing whole school approaches to and engage in special events, celebrations and activities. Students and their families are from diverse backgrounds and have excellent relationships between school and community. 'Friendship and Achievement' reflects the social emotional and academic learning programs. There is an emphasis on values, ethics and applying them to learning and social interactions.
