Beechboro Primary is a community school which offers a positive learning environment for its students and a supportive environment for teachers and parents. It was established in 1988 and is close to major transport links and secondary institutions. The school has very close ties with its community and has high expectations of student behavioural and academic achievement. Beechboro is a real 'league of nations' with 52 families speaking a language other than English. One hundred and twenty four children are either bi-lingual or tri-lingual. The majority are born into Non-English speaking families. Beechboro Primary School provides a range of educational learning experiences for approximately 485 students from Kindergarten through to Year 7. Specialist programs are provided in Languages (Indonesian), Physical Education, Music and Art. The school actively promotes and encourages parent participation through the School Council, the Parents and Citizens Association and parent volunteers in a broad range of curriculum and extra curricula activities.
