Established in 1982, North Mandurah is one of 11 government primary schools in the Mandurah catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 7. The school is attended by children living in the localities of Silver Sands, Watersun, San Remo, Madora Bay (south), Meadow Springs, Lakelands, Parklands, Stakehill and parts of Mandurah Central. The school buildings are a mixture of permanent and transportable classrooms and through parent assistance every building has been air-conditioned. There P&C Association and parent body are very supportive of the school. The School Council is pro-active and seen as having an important function in the school, as the major decision making group. The staff is highly professional, dedicated and committed to the purpose of the school. The school runs a number of high quality special programs including Computing, Physical Education, Library Skills, Music, support programs and a Daily Fitness Program. Our LOTE program teaches Japanese to all students in Years 3 to 7. The school is very inclusive with both an Education Support Centre and an Intensive English Centre being co-located on our site. North Mandurah PS is very well respected in the community.
