Our structured, caring and encouraging learning environment provides quality programs in Maths, English, Integrated Studies, Phys- Ed, Art, Music, Italian and Information Technology. We provide a differentiated curriculum which caters for the needs of each individual as learners and school citizens, valuing both academic and social development as complimentary foci. Our school prides itself on outstanding community spirit, fostered in all situations. We have developed five core values, around which our students, staff and school community behaviour is modelled. This school has 17.1 teachers EFT, 1 Principal class, 16.1 teachers, and 12 Education Support Staff. Our teaching strategies are focusing on explicit teaching of skills combined with an approach which values the individual and respects their place as a member of a group and team as well as a valued Donvale Primary School student. There is a strong partnership in learning between the school, student and family, with a high level of parent participation both formally and informally in school life.
