Marong Primary School offers a comprehensive education in P-6 with a current enrolment of 59. The school is a member of the Sandhurst Network in the Loddon Mallee region. The school values its partnership with the parent and wider community recognising the importance of this partnership in developing student connectedness. Via the BER program a new school is planned to be constructed on the current site. In addition an Early Learning Centre will also be established at the school. This will be in conjunction with the local Pre School and the Greater City of Bendigo Council. The school operates four classrooms containing a P/1, 1/2 , Grade 3, and a grade 4/5/6 class. The school facilitates specialist programs including LOTE, Physical Education and Health via the expertise of the current staff; a specialist Music and Library program is provided to all students. There are currently no students participating in the Program for Students with a Disability. All students at Marong Primary School have a Student Learning Individualised Plan. The school is a member of the Loddon Calder District School Sports Association which organises a range of interschool sporting activities. A comprehensive School Camps program is provided annually for students in grades 2~6. Marong Primary School offers its 59 students an attractive, safe and stimulating learning environment and a successful OHSC program. This school has 4.5 equivalent full time staff. 1 principal class officer, 4 teachers, a specialist program teacher and 1 Education Support Staff member.
