Mindarie Primary School opened in 1997 and is located 40kms to the north west of Perth on the coastal strip. The school provides for 788 students from Kindergarten to Year 7. The school's curriculum has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy. Specialist programs operate in the following areas: LOTE (Italian), Physical Education, Music, Performing Arts, Library/ICT and Primary Extension and Challenge (PEAC) for academically talented students in Years 4-7. Students experiencing educational difficulties are catered for through Individual Education Plans (IEP).
