Mount Helena Primary School is in the eastern reaches of the Darling Ranges and is located 20 mins from Midland. Surrounded by native forest, we provide a rich curriculum with a focus on environmental education. Our positive school culture is reflected in a strong commitment to pastoral care and core values. A Pre-primary to Year 7 educational program is offered, with the Kindergarten students accessing their program through the local Community Kindy. The school community has a wide socio economic representation that is highly supportive of the ethos of the school. The community works in collaboration with an experienced staff to enhance student outcomes. We have an ICT focus and are working towards an interactive whiteboard in each classroom to enhance the teaching and learning program, with particular emphasis on English and Mathematics. Our specialist Music and Visual Arts programs are diverse and link with local community initiatives such as the WHIM Festival.
