Lesmurdie Primary is a K-7 school, situated in the Darling Ranges, approximately 20 km east of Perth. Our primary goals are to provide a full and exciting academic program and to ensure a safe, inclusive and friendly environment where all children feel welcome and valued. Our purpose is to provide the opportunity for all students to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to achieve their full potential - academically, socially and emotionally. The teaching staff are very experienced and include specialist teachers for Physical Education,Mathematics, Italian and Music. The curriculum focus areas for 2011 are: - Literacy- Writing and Spelling; supported by a comprehensive Whole School Literacy Action Plan and Whole School Spelling Plan. - Reading in Middle Primary and extension reading in Upper Primary.
