Carramar Primary School is located in the rapidly developing northern suburbs twenty-eight kilometres from Perth. The school was opened in 2005 and has an enrolment of over 900 students. The school motto is 'Building Today for Tomorrow'. Carramar Primary School is a vibrant community school where collaborative partnerships and life long learning are being fostered. Values Education is an important part of the school curriculum. The school is staffed with enthusiastic and resilient staff who are focused on the children. Students, teachers and parents work collaboratively and are well supported by the school's leadership team, the Parents' and Citizens' Association and the School Council. There are thirty six operational classrooms, a performing arts centre, a visual arts centre, a canteen, a covered assembly area and a community oval. Specialist teacher programs are provided in the following areas: Perfoming Arts Visual Arts Physical Education Languages Other Than English (LOTE) - Italian Music - students learn trumpet, clarinet and flute.
